ORIGO Education Looks to Expand Reach in Math Education Market, Hires Dr. Sara Delano Moore

Dr. Moore, a well-known figure in the mathematics world, brings breadth of experience to management team

KENT, Ohio and ST. CHARLES, Mo., October 27, 2017 – ORIGO Education, a leading provider of mathematics curriculum programs for Pre-K–6 grades, hired Dr. Sara Delano Moore who is an expert in the field of mathematics and science education. Moore is a known champion of mathematics and a contributing author to ORIGO Stepping Stones 2.0 comprehensive mathematics education program.

Dr. Moore joins ORIGO in October as the sales intelligence manager and will lead a dynamic team of seven. Her knowledge and experience will contribute to the expansion of ORIGO’s curriculum programs used in school districts throughout the United States.

Moore has extensive experience in education, with 25 years as a classroom teacher and professor, academic company director, and educational consultant in the mathematics arena. She has served as the director of mathematics and science for ETA hand2mind and has been an educational consultant providing guidance to school districts and teachers in developing competent, effective mathematics programs. She presents in educational conferences around the United States and has published numerous articles in professional journals. She currently serves as conference coordinator  (2017-2019) for the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics.

Moore’s passion for assisting educators develop meaningful mathematics programs extends beyond the states. She recently worked with Teachers2Teachers Global on international professional development including work in Galapagos, Guatemala, and Kenya.
