Level 3 Gymnastics Championships at McClellan Nov. 19-20, 2016

479 gymnasts from 53 teams qualified and will compete

SACRAMENTO, Calif. November 15, 2016 - Female gymnasts in Level 3 ages 6 to 15 will compete at the state championships being held in Sacramento this weekend. The Level 3 North State Gymnastics Championships will host over 479 competitors from 53 clubs. This championship meet is being hosted by Gymnastics and Acro of Fair Oaks,  the non-profit (501c3) parent group supporting the Technique Gymnastics Competitive Teams.

 

  • What: Level 3 North State Gymnastics Championships

  • Where: Jackson Sports Academy  at 5209-A Luce Avenue, McClellan Park, CA 95652

  • When: 8:00 a.m. To 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 and 8:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, November 20, 2016

  • Cost: $10 admission for adults. Children and senior admission is $7 (per session).

Facts about this event:

  • Gymnasts must have qualified with a combined score (beam, floor, bars and vault) of 34.5 in a sanctioned meet.
  • This meet will group competitors by age starting with the 6-8 year-old girls at 8:00 a.m on Saturday, Nov. 19 and ending on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 3:00-6:00 for girls age 11-15.
  • Level 3 is a compulsory level and is considered a beginning level of gymnastics. All gymnastics will perform required skills.
  • Sessions start at 8:00, 11:30, 3:00 and 6:00 first with 20 minutes of open stretch for all competitors in that group.
